Through a voluntary effort called the ‘CommuniTea’ initiative, we at Single Estate Teas aim to create a happy living condition and a high trust environment for our people in the planatations. We work tirelessly to improve our engagement with our people in the tea gardens through the means of sports, culture, education, health, and women & child welfare. All our efforts are aimed at generating a sense of pride & self-esteem within the community, with a special emphasis on the empowerment of children and our women folk. To celebrate our people and their culture we also celebrate a rather colorful and joyous annual festival called the ‘CommuniTea Festival’ since the year 2014, which today has become a much awaited event for all of us at in the plantations. If you ever happen to be in our part of the world around the month of December, you may like to stop by and dance a little to the drum beats played by the same hands that produce some of the best brews in the world!
